Jeff Carreira is a meditation teacher and a mystical philosopher with an international following. He is the author of six books exploring the practice of meditation and the philosophy of inner growth. Seminar 1:
Life without Fear: Meditation as an Antidote for Anxiety
Friday, March 1st, 2019.

Anxiety is a modern epidemic. Most of us live under the cloud of a foreboding sense that something is wrong. Even when we feel happy there is a part of us that remains on guard. Anxiety, tension and stress are well known to us, but the antidote to this modern malady often seem elusive.

In this evening session you will learn that a great deal of the anxiety we feel is a cultural habit of worry and self-concern and how the practice of meditation is widely recognized as a powerful means of breaking that habit. You will explore a form of meditation called The Practice of No Problem that awakens you to the fact that contentment is always a choice that we can make under any circumstances. Contentment is not dictated by circumstance. In this two hour seminar you will discover a source of inner contentment that is always available to you if you know where to find it. Discovering this source of inner contentment is an essential step toward a truly happy and fulfilling life.

Seminar 2:
Living From Wholeness: From Stress Reduction to Spiritual Fulfillment

7:00pm to 9:00pm ET.

We are conditioned by modern life to live from a sense of lack and incompleteness. This assumption of deficiency keeps us engaged in a never ending struggle to achieve a fulfillment that we never seem to find. Once we discover how to use meditation to access the inner space of contentment we have the chance to live a completely different kind of life.

In this evening session you will discover a different source to live from. After the first session you might wonder what happens after we find the wholeness we’ve been looking for? What do we live for if we are already happy? The drive for wholeness is the primary driver of modern life, but it is not the only thing worth living for. Once we discover the source of inner contentment we find ourselves called to new possibilities. When our life of striving ends the possibility of a new life begins. In this two hour seminar you will learn that the ultimate reason to meditate is to free yourself from unconscious and habitual ways of being so you can realize the full potential of your life.
